The PS-8 Parent Club supports parents and students through fundraising efforts and gifts of appreciation to students and staff. Some examples of events include the Father Kuemper Walk-a-Thon fundraiser in the fall and the FitKnight fundraiser in the spring. In both events, students are encouraged to seek out monetary sponsorships for a day of fitness.
The parent club also volunteers at various teacher events or trainings by serving snacks or lunch, among many other things.
