 Kuemper believes that when parents get involved, it drastically enhances the student's educational experience.  When parents volunteer at the school, they get to know other students, parents, and staff, ultimately enhancing their entire family's connection with the school community. 

Please consider the volunteer opportunities below. Many hands make light work. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the form below.

Opportunities at Holy Spirit Center (PK-3rd Grade)

  • Morning Greeters at all centers
    Meet and greet kids as they enter each building
  • End of the Day “greeters”
    Supervising dismissal time at all centers 
  • Parent Club officers/reps
    Lots of other Parent Club volunteering opportunities
  • Lunchroom helpers at the Holy Spirit Center
    Kindergarten and 1st Grade 
  • Reading with students at the Holy Spirit Center (PK-3)
  • Classroom helpers (lined up with each individual teacher)  
  • Faith Volunteers
    Pray with classes; Co-lead/Co-facilitate religious discussions  
  • Prayer Partners
    Assist with Adoration prayer time in the chapel for a specific classroom (at least 1 time per month)
  • Kuemper Ball Event Volunteers
    hosting/seating guests
  • Kuemper Ball Decorators
    Help plan and create decorations for the event

    Assist with preparation, envelopes, and mailings

  • Mentor for students (similar to Big Brother/Big Sister)
    Any person who would like to make a difference in a young person's life.  The mentor will provide consistent support, guidance, and concrete help to a student who is in need of a positive role model. The goal of student mentoring is to help students involved in the mentoring program gain the skills and confidence to be responsible for their own futures.
  • Tutoring for students
    Students need help with work in various content areas. 
  • Club Leadership (i.e STEM, Technology, Broadcasting, Woods, etc...)
    Leading a group of 7th - 12th-grade students in an area of your expertise.  We would love a wide variety of clubs to offer our students.  The clubs would meet once per week or every couple of weeks at the end of the day (around 2:45 pm)
  • Kuemper Ball Event Volunteers
    hosting/seating guests
  • Kuemper Ball Decorators
    Help plan and create decorations for the event
  • Kuemper Ball Mailers
    Assist with preparation, envelopes, and mailings

Opportunities at Kuemper High School (Grades 9-12)

  • Service Day Leaders 
    Volunteers who lead a group of students on a project for service day.
  • Homecoming Decorating 
    Decorate the school the Saturday before homecoming
  • Providing Baked Goods or Snacks for various events
    Snacks would be appreciated at various events such as Catholic Schools Week, Parent-Teacher conferences, school dances, Orientation nights, etc... 
  • Chaperone music trips or other field trips 
    We are always looking for volunteers to lead small groups on various field or music trips.  
  • Chaperone Dances 
    Come and supervise our high school students at one of our 4 dances throughout the school year.  
  • Adoration prayer time volunteers 
    Sign up for a time to come and pray in our Kuemper Chapel any or every Friday.   
  • Cross country/Track meet workers 
  • Member of the KHS Parent Advisory Committee 
    Our advisory committee meets with the KHS principal once per month and helps provide insight and input into our current and future programming and needs.

    • Provide positive male role models for our young men and women, demonstrating by their presence that education and faith is important. 
    • Provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and instruction.
    • Be present on the hallways, cafeteria, and before and after school
    • Monthly lunch meetings for planning and fellowship
  • Kuemper M.U.C.s (Moms United in Christ)
    • Faith and school leaders at school and in the parish community
    • Provide positive male role models for our young men and women, demonstrating by their presence that education and faith is important.

    • This group meets on the second Monday of the month.  They are responsible for helping the Marketing Department with their various functions including; Parent Ambassadors for our new families, Homecoming Tailgate, Back to School Knight in August and any other functions developed by the committee.
